Shooting Where Nearly 100 Rounds Were Fired: Report A pregnant woman is in stable condition after she was shot in Southeast D.C., according to WJLA.  Officers arrived at the Parkchester Apartments near Birney Place at around 3 p.m. on July 27, where they discovered a pregnant woman had been shot multiple times, the outlet reported.  90 shots were fired during the shooting and law enforcement did not believe the woman, who is the property manager of the apartments, was the intended target, WJLA said. Daughter Kills Mom In DC Home: Police A Washington D.C. woman was arrested and charged for her mother's murder, police said. Police responded to the 1600 block of Webster Street at around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, where they found Marilyn Payne, 69, dead after suffering apparent gunshot wounds, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.  After investigating the scene, law enforcement concluded this was a domestic incident, officials said.  Later that day, Payne's 30-year-old daughter, Anna, was arrested for second degree murder while armed, police reported.
