Animal Cruelty: Man Left Dog On Boat In 100-Degree Weather, Stafford Sheriff Says A man and his sister were arrested at a Stafford marina after they trespassed onto a boat and neglected their dog in 100-degree heat, officials said. On July 23 at around 4:15 p.m., John Allen, 28, was found sleeping aboard a boat at Hope Springs Marina, while his dog was stuck outside in blazing heat with no food or water, according to Stafford County Police. Pregnant Virginia Woman Had Pleaded On YouTube To Be Saved From Husband — Now She's Dead "Even when I reached out for help, nothing was done at all." These are the words 27-year-old Dana Alotaibi, of Virginia, said through tears in a recorded call with the National Suicide Awareness Hotline posted to YouTube last January. Seven months later, Falls Church's Alotaibi was stabbed dead by the very man she had been fearful of, Bryant Tejeda-Castillo, on the H-3 freeway in Hawaii, according to those who knew her and police. David Hunt is wanted for numerous counts of burglary, larceny, and trespassing, according to Fredericksburg Police. Alert Issued For 28-Year-Old Man Reported Missing In DC Police are asking for the community's help in locating a missing 28-year-old in D.C., officials said. Christopher Prunty was last seen in the 1400 block of Shippen Lane on July 23 around 8 p.m., according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Prunty was described as a black male, 6'1 and 170 pounds, with black shoulder length dreadlocks and brown eyes, police said. Suspects At Large After Armed Robbery In DC Police are looking for two suspects who were involved in an armed robbery in D.C., officials said. At around 2:53 p.m. on July 22, the suspects entered a store in the 1400 block of 6th Street, where one of the men pointed a gun and demanded money from the register, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. DC Police Arrest 62-Year-Old Woman In Anacostia-Area Shooting Police have arrested a suspect in a shooting that occurred near the Anacostia Community Boathouse, officials said. On July 22 at around 11 p.m., 62-year-old Alice Jackson of Marlow Heights shot and wounded a victim during an argument in the 1900 block M Street, the Metropolitan Police Department reported. Officials said the victim sought treatment at a local hospital, but no further details were released about the victim's condition. Jackson was taken into custody and arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, police said.
