Stafford Woman Gets DUI After Driving Her Car Into Ditch: Police A Stafford woman was arrested for drunk driving after her car was found in a ditch, police said.On August 18, at around 3:30 p.m., a bystander reported a car in a ditch to law enforcement, according to Stafford County police. The driver inside the car, Teresa Coney, 35, had bloodshot eyes and the smell of alcohol coming from her vehicle, officials said. Coney was charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain control of the vehicle, authorities reported. She was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober, police said.

The victim was assaulted while playing soccer earlier that day at 1600 Mine Road, authorities reported.
