Suspect Apprehended After Shooting Near Fairfax County Bus Stop: Police A 52-year-old man from Alexandria was arrested for shooting a victim on Thursday, August 18 at a bus stop, Fairfax officials said. At around 1:53 p.m., the 33-year-old victim got into an argument with the suspect, Paul Malone in Huntington, according to the Fairfax Police Department. Malone shot the victim multiple times in their upper body, before fleeing the scene, authorities reported. Knife-Wielding Man At Large After Early Morning DC Assault With Dangerous Weapon D.C. police are seeking a suspect who threatened a victim with a knife on Thursday, August 18, officials said. At around 1:45 a.m., the suspect approached the victims in the 900 block of 15th Street and threatened one of the victims with his weapon, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. One Person Removed From Car Flipped Upside Down In DC Crash One individual was removed from a car that was flipped upside down in a crash on Thursday, August 18, D.C. officials said.Law enforcement arrived at the scene of the crash in the 400 block Independence Ave and saw a gray car on its roof, according to D.C. Leesburg Man In Custody For Sexually Abusing Family Member's Dog A Leesburg man was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a family member's dog, officials said.On August 7, Loudoun County law enforcement and animal services responded to a call about a dog bite, which led them to discover that the dog was being sexually abused, according to the Loudoun County government. VA Beach Man Will Serve 15 Years For Home Invasion Robbery, Double Shooting A Virginia Beach man pled guilty for his involvement in a 2020 home invasion and shooting, officials said. On May 6, 2020, 24-year-old Deandre Dagner forced a victim into their house at gunpoint and proceeded to rob the man, along with his roommate, according to the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office.
