Man Busted With Crack Cocaine In Following Investigation In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County man with a long history of drug offenses has been busted again following an investigation.
Derek Mitchell, 58, of Stamford, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 20, by the Stamford Police Department's Narc Unit for allegedly dealing crack cocaine, said Capt. Richard Conklin.

Man Driving Drunk With Child In Vehicle Crashes Into Pickup Truck On LI Expressway, Police Say
Police arrested a Long Island man for driving under the influence of drugs with a 14-year-old child in the vehicle.
Benjamin Laudonio, 35, of Holbrook, was arrested around 9:35 a.m., Monday, Nov. 23, after he allegedly rear-ended a 2004 Ford Pickup truck with his 2015 Acuraon while traveling westbound on Long Island Expressway, just west of Patchogue-Holbrook Road, said Suffolk County Police.
Laudonio had a 14-year-old child in the vehicle, according to police. Officers assisted the Ronkonkoma Fire Department, who administered Narcan to Laudonio.

Duo Nabbed For Long Island Murder
Police arrested two people for murdering a Long Island man in August.
Homicide Squad detectives charged Brooke Jackson, 41, and Umar A. El-Quhir Sr., 43, of Mastic, on Monday, Nov. 23, with murder, for the Thursday, Aug. 20, killing of Earle Foster, 52, of Hempstead, in East Patchogue, said Suffolk County Police.
Jackson will be held at the Fourth Precinct and El-Quhir Sr. will be held at the Fifth Precinct, and are scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
Foster was found dead of a gunshot wound in the courtyard of the Maple Tree Apartments.
