Man Apprehended With Loaded Gun, Heroin After Foot Chase, Police Say An Orange County man was arrested for allegedly having a loaded semi-automatic weapon and heroin following a disturbance. The incident took place Saturday, Nov. 21, when Newburgh Police were called to the area of 48 Lake Drive for a disturbance, said the City of Newburgh Police. Car Slams Into Long Island Hotel, Flees Scene A car plowed into a Long Island hotel before fleeing the scene. The incident took place around 7:11 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23, when the vehicle struck the Lakeland Inn, at 1630 Lake Avenue, Bohemia, said the Suffolk County Police. The vehicle fled the scene and has not been caught. There were no injuries. No information was available regarding damage to the building.
