Man Accused Of Stealing $274 Worth Of Items From Macy's In Northern Westchester A local man was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $250 worth of merchandise a Northern Westchester Macy's. Lidia Fuego, 46, of Putnam Valley, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 9, after Yorktown Police responded to the Macy's at the Jefferson Valley Mall for a report of past theft, said the Yorktown Police. Following an investigation, police found that Fuego allegedly stole assorted merchandise from the store worth $274.49, police said. Fuego was charged with petit larceny and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Suspect At Large After Man Critically Injured In Long Island Stabbing Detectives are investigating a stabbing that critically injured a man on Long Island. The incident took place around 2:50 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, when the victim was found with stab wounds in East Farmingdale, on Smith Street, east of Route 110, said the Suffolk County Police. Man Accused Of Dumping Construction Debris On Northern Westchester Roadway A Putnam County man has been issued a summons for allegedly dumping construction debris in the roadway in Northern Westchester County. Charles Valt, 48, of Garrison, was issued the summons for dumping on Wednesday, Nov. 18, after Yorktown Police received a report of the debris in the roadway on Baldwin Road, on Tuesday, Nov. 17. An investigation found the debris had been dumped on the side of the roadway and police were able to identify Valt as the person responsible,  Yorktown Police said. Man Accused Of Exposing Himself At Target In Area An area man was arrested at Target for allegedly exposing himself to young juveniles while in the store. New Haven County resident William McClain, 23, of Seymour, on Tuesday, Nov. 17, when Milford Police were summoned to the store at the Post Mall on the report of a male exposing his genitals to young victims, police said. Covid-19: Popular Market In Area Limiting Capacity Amid Spike In Cases With a spike in COVID-19 cases across the region, a popular market is limiting its capacity. Adams Fairacre Farms announced it will be limiting the number of customers in all of its stores beginning on Saturday, Nov. 21. According to the post, the stores will use the international building code guidelines to keep store occupancy at 50 percent. This capacity will be in effect until Wednesday, Nov. 25.
