Police Investigating Shots Fired Incident On Long Island Police are investigating a case of shots fired on Long Island over the weekend. The department received a call of shots fired in the area of East Argyle Street in Valley Stream around 4:45 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21, said the Nassau County Police. No one was found injured and police are investigating the situation. Police are asking homeowners with video surveillance that might have captured the shooting to contact police at 516-573-8800.

Bus Crashes Into Train Station In Westchester A Westchester County Bee-Line bus hit an overhang at the drop-off area of a Metro-North Station in Westchester County. MTA Police are investigating a report made at 8:26 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, that a Westchester County Bee-Line bus carrying no passengers struck and became wedged in a weather-protection overhang over a passenger drop-off area used by motorists at the Scarsdale Metro-North station, said Aaron Donovan, spokesman for the MTA. There are no reports of injuries, he added. Metro-North Railroad personnel found no damage to the station. There was no impact to train service.

Suspect At Large After Man Critically Injured In Long Island Stabbing Detectives are investigating a stabbing that critically injured a man on Long Island. Man Accused Of Stealing $274 Worth Of Items From Macy's In Northern Westchester A local man was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $250 worth of merchandise a Northern Westchester Macy's. Lidia Fuego, 46, of Putnam Valley, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 9, after Yorktown Police responded to the Macy's at the Jefferson Valley Mall for a report of past theft, said the Yorktown Police. Following an investigation, police found that Fuego allegedly stole assorted merchandise from the store worth $274.49, police said. Fuego was charged with petit larceny and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Man Accused Of Dumping Construction Debris On Northern Westchester Roadway A Putnam County man has been issued a summons for allegedly dumping construction debris in the roadway in Northern Westchester County. Charles Valt, 48, of Garrison, was issued the summons for dumping on Wednesday, Nov. 18, after Yorktown Police received a report of the debris in the roadway on Baldwin Road, on Tuesday, Nov. 17. An investigation found the debris had been dumped on the side of the roadway and police were able to identify Valt as the person responsible,  Yorktown Police said.
