Massage Therapist Sexually Touches Client At Long Island Spa, Police Say Police arrested an area man for allegedly inappropriately sexually touching a female client during a massage at a Long Island spa. The department said Zhiaqiang Wang, 43, of Flushing, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 7:05 p.m. in East Meadow. According to police, Wang, while employed at the Foot Heaven Spa located at 2207 Hempstead Turnpike allegedly inappropriately touched the 26-year-old woman during the massage. The victim contacted the police Wang was charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse; he was arraigned in Mineola.

Westchester Man Attempts To Hit Trooper With Vehicle Before Caught In Chase, Police Say A Westchester man was arrested for attempted assault and other charges after taking New York State Police on a pursuit that began on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The incident began when troopers attempted to stop Tylik D. Wilson Brown, 22, of Yonkers, around 2:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, in a 2014 Kia Forte for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on the northbound Sprain Brook Parkway in the town of Greenburgh, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Norwalk Police Department Announces Promotions Three Norwalk officers received promotions at Norwalk Police Headquarters by the Police Commission. The promotions took place on Tuesday, Nov. 24, amid wishes of good luck to the three officers, said Lt. Jared Zwickler. Those promoted included: Joseph Dinho was promoted to lieutenant. Lieutenant Dinho has been with the department since 2007 and was promoted to sergeant in 2013. Dominic Cisero was promoted to sergeant. Man Threatens Victim With Machete, Steals Items During Altercation In Greenwich, Police Say A Fairfield County man was arrested on a warrant for allegedly threatening to attack a person in a vehicle with him with a machete and stealing some of their possessions. Antonio Llanos-Lopez, 48, of Stamford, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 20, for the incident which took place on Friday, Oct. 16, in Greenwich, said the Greenwich Police. Bicyclist Hit By Mercedes In Area Dies From His Injuries A bicyclist who was hit by a Mercedes-Benz earlier this month has died from his injuries. The unidentified 44-year-old New York City man who was hit around 12:38 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in Ulster County at the intersection of Fish Creek Road and Patch Road in the Town of Saugerties, died on Friday, Nov. 20, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra. Felon From Fairfield County Admits To Having Gun, Feds Say A Fairfield County man has pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Allen Lusmat, 30, of Bridgeport, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Nov. 18, to possessing the gun in New Haven when he entered a convenience store, said John H. Repairman Accused Of Refusing To Return Money After Not Fixing Appliance In Fairfield County A Fairfield County man has been arrested for larceny after refusing to return money to a customer after not performing repairs on an appliance. Lawrence Reddock, 66, of Norwalk, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 20, on a warrant, said the Wilton Police Department. According to police, Reddock is accused of refusing to return money to a customer who had hired him to repair an appliance. Two Juveniles Beat Clerk During Robbery At Westchester Convenience Store, Police Say Two juveniles were nabbed in connection with a strong-arm robbery of a convenience store in which they attack the clerk. The incident took place around 9 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, when Greenburgh Police responded to the Shell Gas Station at 1000 S. Central Ave., for a reported robbery, said Det. Sgt. William Lugo. Deer With Paint Bucket On Head Rescued On Long Island Sound A deer with a bucket on its head was saved from the waters of Long Island Sound with a little help from two people. The incident took place on Saturday, Nov. 21, near Port Jefferson. Frank Floridia from the Strong Island Animal Rescue League was called to the scene, reported ABC 7. Reportedly, Floridia attempted to swim to the deer but the water was too cold. A nearby boater spotted Floridia and the deer and came to the rescue and helped reach the deer and remove the bucket. Teen Arrested For Rash Of Car Burglaries, Theft Of Handgun An area teen has been arrested for a rash of car burglaries in which a handgun was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Friday, March 27. The teen was arrested on Monday, Nov. 23 following a lengthy investigation into the thefts which took place in Milford, said the Milford Police. The investigation led to a juvenile arrest warrant being issued for larceny and burglary charges. The juvenile was charged with: Larceny Conspiracy to commit larceny Conspiracy to commit burglary The juvenile was released and given a juvenile court date.
