Fairfield County Man With Active Warrants Fails To Appear For Sex Assault Hearing, Police Say A Fairfield County man who had two active warrants for an alleged sexual assault was arrested in New Haven County. Prince Carter, age 45, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 23, by Milford Police for the incident which occurred earlier this month. Carter is accused of failing to appear in court on Wednesday stemming from a Milford arrest earlier this month for sexual assault.  He is also accused of violating his court set probation.  Carter was charged with failure to appear and violation of probation. He is being held on a $75,000 bond.

The Town Board unanimously selected Anthony Hoffmann to the post, effective Monday, Jan. 4.  Hoffmann, who was one of five candidates interviewed, has worked in law enforcement for 22 years, starting with the New York City Police Department in 1998. He joined the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department in 2002 and was promoted to lieutenant in 2018. He will take over for former Police Chief Mike Cazzari who retired earlier this year. Dobbs Ferry police said they received a complaint on Sunday, Dec. 13, from the village's Human Rights and Diversity Committee. Although the investigation is still active, Dobbs Ferry PD Lt.
