CT Woman Arrested After Violating Protective Order, Police Say A Connecticut woman was arrested for allegedly violating a protective order and kicking items and a man. Dawn Dominici, 57, of Milford, was arrested on Dec. 19, after Milford Police responded to a home on Milford Point Road address on the report of a possible domestic violence incident. An investigation found that Dominici allegedly violated the conditions of a protective order by kicking items and pushing a man, Milford Police said. Police Searching For Long Island TD Bank Robber Police are searching for a man who robbed a Long Island bank and got away with an undetermined amount of cash. The incident took place around 3:15 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the TD Bank in Hempstead, Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, a Black male entered the TD Bank, at 252 Peninsula Blvd., approached a teller, and handed a demand note for money. The teller surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash and the subject then fled the bank in an unknown direction. House Fire Causes Heavy Damage In Area Fire and EMS battled a large house fire overnight that heavily damaged the home in the area. Mahopac Falls Fire and EMS were dispatched around 3:25 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23 to a home at 72 Mexico Lane, in Mahopac, said Jack Casey, public information officer for Mahopac Falls VFD. Man Injured By Gunfire Walks Into Area Hospital A 31-year-old man injured by gunfire sought medical treatment at an area hospital. New Haven Police were alerted to the shooting on Monday, Dec. 21, when the victim walked into the Bridgeport Hospital, said New Haven Police. The man had been shot in the side of his torso. Man Recovering After Stabbing Incident In New Haven A New Haven man remains hospitalized after being stabbed in the Hill neighborhood. The incident happened around 10 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, when New Haven Police and fire responded to a 911 call of a person stabbed outside a house on Adeline Street between West Street and Eddy Street, the department said. Rockland County Home Devoured By Quick-Moving Fire A home in Rockland County was destroyed by fast-moving flames following an early morning fire. The fire took place on Monday, Dec. 21 at 267 Congers Road in New City, according to the New Fire Department. Covid-19: These CT Testing Sites Don't Require An Appointment For those needing a COVID-19 test, Community Health Center is offering sites statewide that do not require an appointment. In addition to not needing an appointment state officials said you do not have to be exhibiting symptoms to receive the tests.
