Man Drives Into Front Porch Of Peekskill Home A man lost control of his car and drove into the front porch of a Northern Westchester home, according to Peekskill Police. The crash took place around 6:34 a.m., Thursday, at 1706 Westchester Ave., said Lt. John White. The porch received minor damage, the car did not drive into the home, he added. The driver, described as an elderly man, was treated at the scene.

Person Killed In Southeast I-684 Crash Involving Car, Dump Truck An early morning two-vehicle crash on northbound I-684 near the Putnam/Northern Westchester border left one person dead, according to the New York State Police. The crash, between a car and a dump truck, occurred around 12:30 a.m., Thursday, in the northbound lanes in Southeast, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Following the crash, the northbound lanes were closed until 7 a.m., while state police investigated the fatal crash, he said. Guthrie, who lived in Haverstraw, was born in the Bronx on Dec. 6, 1931, to Thomas and Delia (Bridget White) of Co. White Plains Four-Story Office Building Sells For $13.7M The Westchester Business Center, a four-story office building on South Broadway in White Plains, recently sold for $13.7 million through Ten-X Commercial, an online real estate business. The listing received more than 4,000 web hits on Ten-X Commercial that resulted in multiple offers, said company spokeswoman Amanda Ferraro. Ten-X Commercial is a subsidiary of Ten-X, a digital real estate marketplace, she added. The KABR Group was the seller of the hot property and the buyer was Zef Perlleshi of Scarsdale, Ferraro said. Dan Lessing of DSR Group was the broker for the transaction.
