She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Historic Nanuet Church Hits Market For $6M A church that has been a fixture in the Nanuet community for more than 150 years is being sold and the congregation is seeking a new home. Grace Baptist Church recently announced they are selling the 60,000-foot building and land on Demarest Avenue for $5.9 million. The building features four sections, including two fellowship halls, a stained glass sanctuary with balcony, commercial kitchen, several offices, classrooms, nursery and ADA bathrooms. Residents' Complaints Lead To Ossining Massage Parlor Arrests Several people running an illegal massage parlor in Ossining quickly learned not to mess with a group of local moms and other interested residents. Menendez Corruption Case Ends In Mistrial A mistrial has been declared in the corruption trial of United States Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey after jurors said they were unable to reach a verdict. The judge declared the mistrial shortly before noon Thursday after the jury sent him a note following four days of deliberations that they were hopelessly deadlocked. Wallkill Man Killed In Route 17 Rollover Crash In Goshen A Town of Wallkill man was killed during a rollover crash on Route 17 in the Town of Goshen, according to the New York State Police. Ronald Littlejohn, 72, died around 11:15 p.m., Wednesday, following the crash, said Trooper Steven Nevel. The crash occurred when Littlejohn, who was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban, drove off the road and hit an embankment, rolling the vehicle multiple times before coming to rest in the westbound lanes, Nevel said. ID Released For Man Killed In I-684 Crash An early morning crash on I-684 in Southeast has claimed the life of a 54-year-old man from Fairfield County after he rear-ended a dump truck, according to the New York State Police. Jon A. Slater of Danbury was pronounced dead at the scene of the 12:30 a.m., three-vehicle crash Thursday in the northbound lane, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
