Two Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries In I-95 Crash

Two people suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on I-95 in the Village of Mamaroneck, according to New York State Police.
The three-vehicle crash took place around 1:13 a.m., Wednesday, on southbound I-95, near mile marker 10.2 in Mamaroneck, when two people, in separate vehicles, were hit by a tractor-trailer, said Trooper Michael Cassella.

Rockland Port Authority Officer Being Hailed As Hero In NYC Terror Attack
The first four police officers to arrive at the scene of the attempted terrorist attack at the Port Authority Bus Terminal on Monday, including one from Rockland, are being hailed as heroes for stopping the bomber from reaching for his cell phone.

Three Dutchess Residents Arrested On Bench Warrants
Three Dutchess County residents were arrested by Town of Lloyd Police on bench warrant ranging from criminal mischief to criminal possession of drugs.
Those arrested were:
Shalina C. Davis, 26, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 6, was arrested on a bench warrant for criminal mischief, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. Davis was arraigned before Town of Lloyd Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $250.00 cash bail, $1,000 insurance bond, said Lt. James Janso.
