Congers Pedestrian Struck While Crossing Route 303 A Congers woman is in Nyack Hospital after being struck by a car while attempting to cross Route 303, according to the Clarkstown Police. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, when the unidentified 32-year-old woman was hit by a 72-year-old Haverstraw woman as she attempted to cross the roadway, said Officer Peter Walker. One Person Killed In Mid-Hudson Bridge Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash that closed the Mid-Hudson Bridge in both directions for about two hours Tuesday, according to state police. The crash between a tractor-trailer and car occurred around 10:40 a.m.between Route 44 (NY 55) and the Mid-Hudson Bridge tolls, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
