Police Search For Armed Suspect In Pair Of Poughkeepsie Store Robberies City of Poughkeepsie police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men, one of whom may have been involved in two store robberies. The first robbery took place on Nov. 11 at the store located at the intersection of Mansion Street and Winnikee Avenue by a man armed with a handgun, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark. Six Displaced In Beacon Fire A family of six along with two dogs were able to escape a house fire in their Beacon home without any injuries, according to the Beacon Fire Department.
