She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Golf Outing Scheduled In Memory Of Former North Salem HS Student Friends and supporters of the late Zack Bassin of Carmel, who died in August at the age of 21 from a rare form of Cystic Fibrosis, will host a memorial golf outing in Putnam County to help raise funds to battle the disease. Man Arrested After 2-Year-Old Found Wandering Down Connecticut Street A man was arrested Saturday after police found a 2-year old child, that he was supposed to be watching, wandering along a busy roadway, according to Cromwell Police. Police responded to a 911 call of a 2-year old wandering in the roadway of Berlin Round by the intersection of Kirby Road. The child was located unharmed and removed from the road by a passerby, police said. Following an investigation, police arrested George Downer, 56, of 10 Kirby Road, Cromwell, who was supposed to be watching the child when they wandered away. City Of Poughkeepsie Woman Busted With More Than 200 Bags Of Heroin A City of Poughkeepsie woman was busted with more than 200 bags of heroin following an investigation into narcotic sales near her home. Tiffany Turner, 31, of Reynolds Avenue, was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at her home by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force on Wednesday, March 28, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the Task Force. Orange County Man Faces Vehicular Manslaughter Charge A Highland Mills man was charged Monday with DWI and vehicular manslaughter in the death of a man who was a passenger in his car during a crash last year, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Robert Higgins, 24, was charged in connection with a Dec. 22, 2017, crash on Route 32 in the Town of Woodbury, that ended with the death of Higgins’ passenger, Preston Jones, 23, of Fayetteville, N.C. Driver Faces Charges After Crash Damages Police Car In Fairfield County A Fairfield man was arrested for DWI with property damage after crashing into another vehicle that hit the back of a police cruiser. Seth Shepard, 26, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. Monday, after he collided with a car stopped at the intersection of Post Road at Sanford Street. Pair Of Bridgeport Men Charged In Trumbull Home Invasion A pair of Bridgeport men were captured after they broke into a Trumbull home early Saturday looking for money and threatened the resident with a handgun.
