Woman Nabbed For Role In Route 7 Gas Station Burglary In Wilton Following a several-months-long investigation, Wilton Police arrested a West Haven woman for being the getaway driver in a cash station burglary last year. Alicia Sheremeta, 30, of 98 Brown St., was arrested Monday and charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal mischief, larceny and other charges in connection with the Dec. 19, 2017, burglary of the Gulf Gas Station on Danbury Road in Wilton, said Lt. Man Admits To Strangling Woman To Death At Hudson Harbour Apartments A 59-year-old man has admitted to strangling a woman to death last year at the Hudson Harbour apartment complex in Poughkeepsie, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office. Charles D'Amico of Poughkeepsie pleaded guilty Monday to manslaughter in the strangulation death of 49-year-old Jill Meltzer, according to Kristine Whelan, chief of the Special Victims Bureau at the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office. Poughkeepsie Man Nabbed With Crack Cocaine During Traffic Stop A Poughkeepsie man was arrested for possession of drugs following a traffic stop by Town of Poughkeepsie Police. Robert W. Johnson, 21, was arrested at 2:30 a.m, March 30, while a passenger in a vehicle that had been stopped for a traffic violation, said Capt. Kevin Faber. An investigation found that Johnson was in possession of crack cocaine, Faber said. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and is being held at the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

Westchester Woman Nabbed For Stealing ID To Buy $4K Worth Of iPhones A 22-year-old woman was nailed for buying $4,000 in iPhones from an AT&T store using someone else's identity, said Bedford Police. Stephanie L. Zarcone of Neptune Ave. in New Rochelle was arrested Tuesday following an investigation and charged with grand larceny and identity theft in connection with the t $3,999.96 purchases of four iPhones on March 1, according to Lt. Vincent Gruppuso. Zarcone was arraigned in the Bedford Justice Court and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 25.

Police Probe Thefts Of Luxury Cars In Greenwich Greenwich police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove their keys after the theft of two luxury vehicles. A 2017 Maserati Levante was reported missing Sunday, March 31, from the 60 block of River Road, and has not been recovered. The owner could not remember if the spare set of keys were in the vehicle, said Lt. John Slusarz. Wanted: Police Seek Suspect On Loose After Hit-Run Injured Girl In Congers The Clarkstown Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a 26-year-old man wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a 7-year-old girl.
