Man Nearly Dies Of Heroin Overdose Inside Library Bathroom In Stamford An employee found a 52-year-old man unconscious and nearly dead from a heroin overdose in a second-floor bathroom at Ferguson Library in Stamford, according to police. The man was found around 1 p.m. Thursday at the library at 1 Public Library Plaza when the staff member entered the bathroom, said Stamford Police Sgt. Robert Shawinsky. Shawinsky said the staffer called police and EMS who quickly arrived and medics administered two doses of Narcan before bringing the man back to life. Police Investigating Stabbing In Rye Police are investigating a stabbing that took place near 900 Boston Post Road in Rye, according to multiple sources. Police had set up a crime scene area in front of two churches and had taped off a still-running silver Honda around 9 p.m. Thursday, according to News 12. News 12 reported the vehicle had a blood-stained passenger seat and that a victim was taken by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center. 4 Teens Nabbed After Multi-Town Fairfield County Police Chase Ends In Crash Four teens who were burglarizing cars in Fairfield took police on a wild chase in a stolen Lexus that crossed through several towns before ending in Norwalk. The pursuit began just after midnight Tuesday when Fairfield police received a call about three or four people in a white Lexus at Southport Ridge who were checking car door handles parked in the area to see if they were locked, said Lt. Bicyclist Hospitalized After Getting Hit By Car On Route 6N A bicyclist was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car on Route 6N, near Carmel. The incident occurred Thursday afternoon near the county sand pile after a person driving a vehicle struck the bicyclist, said officials. Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire, EMS, and Fire Police were dispatched, along with Carmel Police. The driver of the vehicle was "shaken up" but not injured. The bicyclist was transported to Hudson Valley Hospital with minor injuries.

Police Manhunt For Newburgh Bank Robber City of Newburgh Police are looking for a man who robbed the TD Bank, getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robbery took place at 10 a.m. Thursday at the bank at 800 Broadway in the City of Newburgh, said the City of Newburgh Det. Lt. Joseph Burns. The man, who was wearing a black hoodie that partly concealed his face, did not display a weapon, police said. Wanted 'Bloods' Gang Member Caught In Nyack A self-admitted Bloods gang member who removed an electronic monitoring device and told his parole officer "catch me if you can," was nabbed Wednesday by detectives with the Rockland County Sheriff's Office. Driver Charged With Using School Bus To Deal Heroin In Fairfield County A school bus driver for the Bridgeport School District was nailed by police for using the bus to deal heroin in Fairfield County, according to the Stratford Police. Teen Arrested For Dragging Dog With Car In Greenwich, Police Say A teen who lives in Westchester was arrested for allegedly dragging a dog on a leash with his vehicle, then tying it up and leaving it injured on the side of the road, Greenwich Police said. $1.5M Settlement For Family Of Fairfield County Novelist Killed In Crash The wife of a Fairfield County novelist who died in a July 2017 auto crash has received a $1.5 million settlement after suing the driver who crossed the center lane hitting his vehicle head-on.
