Westchester Restaurant Fatal Stabbing Suspect Had Previous Assault Charge The woman who is charged with fatally stabbing a co-worker at a Westchester restaurant has two arrest warrants pending in Brooklyn, including one involving a knife, court records show. Rosa Ramirez, 27, of Manhattan, who is reportedly pregnant, fatally stabbed Bonifacio Rodriguez with a kitchen knife at the River City Grille on Route 9 in Irvington on Tuesday following an argument, Irvington police said. Mom Who Killed Four Children In Fire To Live In Hudson Valley A Rochester woman who set her home on fire in 2012, killing four of her six children, has been released from prison and will make the Hudson Valley home. Bobbie J. Kugler, 37, was released from Albion State Correctional Institution on Monday, according to the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Spokesman Patrick Bailey. Bailey said Kugler, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter, assault, and arson. in 2012, will live in Dutchess County. Tight Leather Jacket Tip Leads To Drug Charges For Westchester Woman A Westchester woman wearing a tightly-fitted leather jacket was busted with three-quarters of a pound of pot after police received a tip she was a drug courier, according to Stamford Police. Bus Company To Lay Off More Than 160 In Orange County More than 160 jobs face elimination at the end of June following the announcement that First Student Bus Company had lost its contract with the Pine Bush School District. The company filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification on April 3, which notified the state that 166 employees would be laid off as of June 29. Retired Nypd Cop From Hudson Valley Pleads Guilty To Raping Two Women A retired NYPD lieutenant pleaded guilty to two counts of rape in connection with the sexual assault of two teenage girls, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Nicholas McAteer, 46, from Glenwood Lake pled guilty Wednesday in connection with the 2007 and 2011 rapes of two teenage girls. At the time of his plea, McAteer admitted to the forcible rape of the two girls. McAteer raped the first girl in 2007 when the girl was 18-years old, the DA's Office said. Power Line Falls, Causing Nanuet House Fire This story has been updated. Firefighters rushed to the scene of a house fire after a power line fell outside the home In Nanuet, near the Pearl River border. The fire, reported at 1:20 p.m., Wednesday, was at 3 Villa Drive, a vacant, two-story home, according to the fire department. Several fire departments, including Pearl River, Nanuet and Orangeburg responded. Flames were said to be visible on the first and second floors, as well as the attic. Danbury Teen Whose Punch Led To Gabe Bardo's Death Pleads Guilty A teenager who delivered the fatal blow that led to the death of Gabe Bardo last year during a drug deal pleaded guilty to manslaughter. Lorenzo Santana, 17, accepted a plea deal Monday from prosecutors, confirmed Prosecutor Deborah Mabbett. “He demanded marijuana from Gabe and struck him in the head,” Mabbett told the court. “Gabe laid down on the ground and never regained consciousness. Suspect Nabbed In Newburgh TD Bank Robbery City of Newburgh police have nabbed a man wanted for the robbery of a TD Bank last week. Alexander Castineiras, 29, of Washingtonville, was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into the robbery at the bank at 800 Broadway around 10 a.m. Thursday, said Det. Lt. Joseph Burns.
