Daniel Monahan, 21, was arrested May 1 after police noticed he was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation, said Lt. Man Busted For Drugs Following Police Chase A man who took Connecticut State Police on a chase was later busted for drugs when cocaine was discovered in his vehicle.  Anthony Stevenson, 46, of Waterbury, was busted around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday after officers attempted to stop him for an equipment violation, state police said. But instead of stopping, Stevenson continued to drive, engaging police in a pursuit that continued for a short distance, finally stopping on Ayer Street in the City of Waterbury, police said. Two Stabbed In Poughkeepsie During Large Fight City of Poughkeepsie police said two stabbings Wednesday are related to each other and that the victims are not cooperating with police. The incident occurred around 9:10 p.m. when officers responded to a large fight on Conklin Street, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark. Officers found one victim on Conklin Street and another at the intersection of Mansion and Catharine streets, Clark said. Injuries to both victims are considered non-life threatening, he added. The victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
