Car Crashes Into Stone Wall In Mahopac Traffic was backed up on Long Pond Road in Mahopac due to a car crashing into a stone wall, according to the Mahopac Fire Department. The incident occurred around  4 p.m. Thursday when the driver swerved, crossed the road and hit the stone wall, ripping off a door of the vehicle, officials said.
