Westport Police Catch Three Shoplifters With Goods, Tools Westport police nabbed three people for shoplifting after an employee notified authorities that they were stealing items and putting them in a vehicle parked outside, according to Westport Police. The arrests took place around 3:15 p.m. May 25 when officers were dispatched to a Main Street retailer on a report of shoplifting, Westport Police said. Police Seek To ID Suspect In Fairfield County Credit Card Theft The Stratford Police Dept. is attempting to identify a man who is suspected of stealing credit cards from a vehicle in the Paradise Green area, according to Stratford Police. The man allegedly stole the cards and has been using them at different establishments in town, said Capt. Starbucks Employee Rescued After Fall In Westchester Firefighters had to use a unique rig to rescue a Starbucks employee who had fallen through an open grate in the floor and ended up in the basement. The incident took place Friday afternoon at the Starbucks on Palmer Avenue in Larchmont, said Larchmont Fire Chief John Caparelli.
