Motorcycle Crashes After Bear Runs Onto Route 202 In Litchfield County Two area residents out for a Sunday drive were injured after a bear ran in front of their motorcycle, causing them to crash after clipping the animal. The crash occurred around 1:35 p.m. Sunday on the Litchfield Turnpike (Route 202), said Connecticut State Trooper Kelly Grant. Fairfield County Student Charged With Cafeteria Sex Assault Gets Probation A former Fairfield County high school student accused of sexually assaulting another student in the lunch line has been sentenced to accelerated rehabilitation, according to the State Attorney's Office. Fairfield County Doctor Charged With Domestic Abuse A Fairfield County family doctor was arrested after he allegedly pushed his wife down the stairs and then forced her out of the house before moving in another woman and her son, according to the Fairfield Police. Police: Sex Offender, 63, Exposes Himself In Front Of Women, Children A registered sex offender was nabbed for sitting on a bench at a popular trail exposing himself in front of children and others, according to the Hamden Police. Four Juveniles Nabbed In Fairfield County Robbery Four Fairfield County teens were nabbed for robbing two juveniles of more than $2,000 in cell phones and other items, according to the Stratford Police Department. The incident took place Thursday in the Paradise Green area of town when four teens, all male, approached two juveniles and pulled out a handgun and robbed them of their property, said Stratford Police Capt. Worker At Northern Westchester Smoke Shop Busted For Drugs An anonymous tip led police to bust an employee at a Northern Westchester smoke shop for selling concentrated cannabis in vape pens, according to Croton-on-Hudson Police. Malloy has ordered all U.S. and state flags in the state be lowered to half-staff in honor of a state police trooper from Norwalk who died Thursday. Former HS Football Co-Captain ID'd As Stamford Homicide Victim Police have identified the 18-year-old victim shot to death on Thursday as a former Stamford High School varsity football co-captain. Capt. Richard Conklin said that Antonio Robinson was shot at 8:45 p.m. Thursday at West Avenue and Baxter Street.
