Job Applicant Sexually Assaulted By Pizzeria Manager, Police Say The manager of a Fairfield County pizza restaurant was busted for sexually assaulting a woman who was applying for a job, according to the Connecticut Post. Riza Sahin, 37, the manager at Pizza Heaven on Main Street in Bridgeport, was charged Thursday with sexual assault and unlawful restraint, the Post said. According to the paper, Sahin was arrested after a 23-year-old woman interviewing for the job in a small office in the back said he grabbed her by the waist and stuck his right hand down her pants and began rubbing her genitals. Pair Face Prostitution Charges In Fairfield County Two women were nailed on prostitution charges following a raid on a apartment where an illegal massage parlor was offering more than massages. 111-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man Dies, Survived By 108-Year-Old Wife Duranord Veillard of Spring Valley, who was believed to be the oldest resident in the Hudson Valley, died Friday, June 1, at the age of 111. Although officials records are not kept, Veillard's family members and his wife Jeanne Veillard, believed them to be area's oldest married couple, having been married since 1932. Jeanne turned 108 in May. Born in Haiti to Miciade Toulou and Tatice Veillard on Feb. 28, 1907, Veillard studied law and served as a judge for a number of years in his hometown before immigrating to the U.S. in the late 1960’s. Hudson Valley Teen Nabbed With Cocaine, Handgun A 17-year-old Hudson Valley teen was busted with more than 11 grams of cocaine and a loaded handgun during a search of his home. Danbury Man Busted With Two Pounds Of Pot A Fairfield County man was busted with more than two pounds of marijuana following an investigation into complaints from residents of drug dealing in the area. Hudson Valley Man Sentenced For Firing Illegally Possessed Gun In The AIr A Hudson Valley man has been sentenced to 13 years in state prison for firing a pistol in the air during a street fight. Antonio Harriott, 27, of Newburgh, was sentenced by Orange County Court Judge William L. Off-Duty Police Officer Admits To Putting Woman In Chokehold In Westchester A 28-year-old police officer was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge after pleading guilty to harassment for putting a woman in a chokehold while off duty last year in Northern Westchester.
