The explosion happened around 5 a.m. Tuesday at 10 Deepwood Lane, according to the Norwalk Fire Department. All the windows and doors were blown off the house, the department said. There's A Bear In My Backyard: Easton Police Report Multiple Incidents A black bear or bears have been busy in Easton recently, with police receiving multiple calls of sightings from residents. Easton Police Capt. Richard Doyle said the numerous sightings on Thursday and Friday are probably the same bear that lives in the area and is just traveling around. Keep Vehicles Locked, State Police Warning States Connecticut State Troopers are once again reminding residents to lock their vehicles and take their keys after a new round of break-ins has occurred. In the latest thefts, troopers said two women's purses were stolen from two different vehicles parked in the same parking lot. In both instances, the purses were left in plain sight, troopers said.  One car was unlocked, and the other had its window smashed so the thief could reach the purse. Woman Found Dead, Covered In Blood In Stamford Police are investigating the death of a woman, found covered in blood in Stamford, according to multiple sources.
