Man, 23, Charged With Assault, Resisting Arrest In New Canaan A 23-year-old man was arrested for assault and resisting arrest during a domestic dispute, according to the New Canaan Police. Tyler J. Moroch of New Canaan was arrested after officers arrived on the scene Tuesday on Millport Avenue and found Moroch in a domestic dispute with the victim, police said. An investigation led to the arrest of Moroch who was charged with disorderly conduct, assault, possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and resisting arrest. He is being held on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

Jeremy T. Garcia, 21, was arrested Tuesday, June 5, after Stony Point police responded to a reported incident of two men attempting to enter a vacant home on Beech Road, said Lt. Daniel Hylas. Stamford Woman's Death A Homicide, Police Now Say Stamford police are confirming that the death of a local woman who was found covered in blood was a homicide. Capt. Richard Conklin said they are searching for clues and interviewing everyone connected with Eden Claxton, 74, who was found dead around 8:30 a.m. Monday on Hycliff Terrace.
