Prayer Service Scheduled For Family Of Westport Boy Killed In Crash A prayer service has been scheduled for the family of a 10-year-old Westport boy who died in a car crash last weekend, according to Connecticut News12. The Thursday service for Perrin Delorey, who died when the car he was riding in was involved in a head-on crash in upstate New York, will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church in Westport at 7:30 p.m., News12 said. 23-Year-Old Suspect Quickly Caught After Beacon Purse Snatching Incident Beacon Police quickly arrested a 23-year-old local man after he snatched a woman's purse, according to the Beacon Police Department. Bobby Jones III, of Beacon, was arrested around 10 p.m. Sunday after police responded to Liberty Street for a purse snatching incident, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson. Once on scene, the victim was able to describe the male suspect and responding officers located a Jones who matched the description a short time later. Man, 59, Killed In Head-On Hudson Valley Motorcycle Crash State Police are investigating a crash involving a vehicle from the Orange County District Attorney's office in which a 59-year-old motorcyclist was killed. The crash occurred in Orange County at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on Crystal Run Road in the Town of Wallkill, said Trooper Steven Nevel. According to Nevel, a preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcycle, being operated by Bert Wolvers of Goshen was traveling east on Crystal Run Road when it failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and entered the westbound lane. Suspect, 27, Charged In Beacon Armed Robbery Beacon police nabbed a 27-year-old man for an attempted armed robbery, according to the Beacon Police Department. Kenneth R. Place, of Cold Springs, was arrested around 10 a.m. Tuesday when the City of Beacon Police were called to 426 Main Street for a reported robbery with a gun, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson. Police Search For BMW In Northern Westchester Pedestrian Hit-Run Police are searching for a black BMW with Connecticut license plates that struck a pedestrian and fled the area in Peekskill. The incident occurred around 9 a.m. Thursday at Washington and Franklin streets. Peekskill police are not releasing any further information, including the condition of the person struck, other than the incident is under investigation. This is a developing story. Body Found Of Hunter Who Went Missing With Mahopac Brothers The body of one of four hunters who has been missing along with two Mahopac brothers following an SUV crash in the wilds of Idaho has been found, according to multiple sources. Reese Rollins, 21, of Terrebonne, Oregon, was found by Forest Service employees about 45 miles from where the crash happened along the Selway River, his stepsister Taylie Hammack initially posted on the "Finding Reece Rollins" Facebook page, reported the Idaho Statesman. Man, 23, Charged With Assault, Resisting Arrest In New Canaan A 23-year-old man was arrested for assault and resisting arrest during a domestic dispute, according to the New Canaan Police. Tyler J. Moroch of New Canaan was arrested after officers arrived on the scene Tuesday on Millport Avenue and found Moroch in a domestic dispute with the victim, police said. An investigation led to the arrest of Moroch who was charged with disorderly conduct, assault, possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and resisting arrest. He is being held on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

Man Hits Roommate In Face With Hammer, Stamford Police Say A man was arrested for attacking his rooming house neighbor with a hammer in the face, breaking bones, according to the Stamford Police. Rocael Perez-Godoy, 36, was arrest around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after police received a report of an attack at a West Side rooming house on Oak Hill Street, said Sgt. Kenneth Jarrett. Three Ramapo Businesses Caught Selling Alcohol To Underage Buyer Three Rockland County businesses were busted for selling liquor to an underage undercover agent during an operation by the Ramapo Police Department. The operation was conducted in conjunction with the Rockland County Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children to help cut down on the number of businesses that sell to minors. Man Caught Trying To Enter Vacant Rockland Home, Police Say A Stony Point man was busted for criminal trespass and possession of pot after police found him, along with another man, attempting to enter a vacant home. Jeremy T. Garcia, 21, was arrested Tuesday, June 5, after Stony Point police responded to a reported incident of two men attempting to enter a vacant home on Beech Road, said Lt. Daniel Hylas. The responding officer located the suspects in the rear yard of the home allegedly smoking marijuana, Hylas said.
