She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Little League Ceremony Honors Memory Of Westport's Perrin Delorey This story has been updated. More than 30 Westport Little Leaguers lined up to the sign a team ball to present to the parents of one of their own who died in a car crash just days before. A crowd of 200 people turned out to honor 10-year-old Perrin Delorey who died in a car crash in upstate New York on Sunday, June 10. His parents were injured while on a visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Perrin was on life-support for one day and then his organs were donated to help others. 18 Displaced In Poughkeepsie Fire Eighteen people were displaced following a fire Sunday in the City of Poughkeepsie on Eastman Terrace. The fire broke out in the back of one of 10 townhouse/apartments at 6 Eastman Terrace, officials with the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department said. Firefighters responded to the scene around 11:30 a.m. and remained until 2:30 p.m., with firefighters working the fire, which started in the back of units five and six, from both sides of the building as the fire spread. Greenwich Police Respond To Two Separate Hit-And-Run Incidents Two people, including a Westchester man, were arrested in a pair of separate hit-and-run incidents involving pedestrians in Greenwich, police said. The first incident took place on Friday when police responded to South Water Street for a report of a pedestrian struck by a grey Acura sedan, said Greenwich PD Lt. David Nemecek. When officers arrived they found that a person had struck a juvenile while he was backing in the roadway and then fled the scene, Nemecek. The juvenile was not seriously injured, he said. Greenwich Police Nab Man For Violating Protective Order Greenwich police arrested a Westchester man for violating an order of protection over the weekend. Christopher Brennan, 54, of White Plains, was arrested Friday after police responded to the Glenville section of town. Officers found the Brennan had violated a court order prohibiting contact with another person, according to the arrest report. He was held on $1,000. bail.

Hearing Set For Chef Accused Of Taking Pics Up Women's Skirts In New Canaan An area chef accused of taking pictures up women's skirts in New Canaan is scheduled to appear for a pre-trial hearing later this month. Patrick Bowdoin, 37, of Norwalk, was arrested in March for taking photos and videos under the skirts of at least 12 women with his cellphone, according to New Canaan Police. The incidents came to light after a woman reported an incident that occurred at the restaurant The Commons at Grace Farms in December. Inmate At Rockland County Jail Busted With Heroin A 22-year-old Orange County woman being held at the Rockland County Correctional Facility was busted for possession of drugs after a search of her cell by a K-9 dog found heroin. Devon Rose of Tuxedo Park was being held on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and prostitution, said Rockland County Sheriff's Det. Lt. Ted Brovarski. Greenwich Man Kills Neighbor's Cat By Mistake A Greenwich man meaning no harm to anyone but a groundhog that was continually digging up his yard has been charged with several misdemeanors after putting out a trap and killing his neighbor's cat instead of catching the pesky animal. Seen Him? Alert Issued For Wanted Rockland Burglary Suspect Ramapo Police are asking the public for help in locating a man wanted for several crimes, ranging from burglary to harassment. Mark A. Jones, 28, committed the crimes at different times recently and include charges of burglary; petit larceny; circumvention of an interlock device; possession of a controlled substance; obstructing governmental administration (two counts); harassment, and for traffic and vehicle violations, Ramapo police said. Police: Norwalk Man Who Failed To Maintain Lane In Wilton Under Influence A Norwalk man was busted by Wilton police for driving under the influence after failing to maintain a single lane. Gerardo Corona-Villalpando, 25, was arrested Saturday around 10 p.m. after officers saw him driving over the center line and then make a turn from a non-turn lane on Danbury Road, said Wilton Police.
