Serious Westchester School Bus Crash Sends Numerous Riders To Hospitals Mulitple people have been hospitalized following a crash between a small school bus and a car in Scarsdale. Scarsdale dispatchers said the crash that occurred around 4:30 p.m. Friday, has blocked traffic in the area at Fenimore Road and Brite Avenue. ID Released For Woman Hit, Killed By Metro-North New Haven Line Train A woman who was killed by a Metro-North New Haven Line train Thursday night has been identified, according to the MTA. Tricia Plotnik, 35, of Milford, was hit around 9 p.m. by a Grand Central-bound train just east of the Milford train station, said MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan. The incident caused delays, but MTA officials don't believe any criminal activity was involved. MTA police are investigating the incident, Donovan said.

School Bus Overturns In Valley Cottage First responders are on the scene of a school bus crash in Valley Cottage, according to the Clarkstown Police Department. The bus, with only the driver aboard, overturned around 4:10 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Snake Hill and Crusher roads, police said. There are reports of minor injuries. New Windsor Undercover Alcohol Details Pay Off After working for months with business owners to bring attention to the problem of underage drinking, the Town of New Windsor Police Department says the hard work has paid off. A couple of weeks ago, members of the department, along with several underage decoys, conducted an undercover operation, where the decoys made several attempts to purchase alcohol at all of these local businesses. Man Fleeing From ICE Agents Hit By Police Car In Danbury This story has been updated. A 24-year-old man was hit by a police car as he was running from federal immigration authorities who were attempting to arrest him. The incident unfolded Friday morning at the Danbury Superior Court where Samuel Cruz of Danbury was appearing in court on assault and disorderly conduct charges in connection with a domestic violence case, said Danbury Police Sgt. Man Driving Car Stolen By Woman Collides With Two CT State Police Cruisers A man driving a car stolen by his passenger took Connecticut State police on a wild chase, damaging two police cruisers before finally being stopped. John Rogers, 28, of Hartford was arrested early Friday after troopers observed him traveling at a high rate of speed in the stolen vehicle, said Trooper Kelly Grant. Lightning Strike Hospitalizes Three In Area A lightning strike on Lake Mahopac sent three people out boating to the hospital and slightly injured another. The incident took place around 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 4 when Putnam County Sheriff's Sgt. Matthew Monroe of the department's Marine Patrol Unit responded to a report of an occupied disabled boat on Lake Mahopac, the department said. During heavy rain and frequent lightning strikes Monroe was able to locate the disabled vessel, near the northwest corner of the lake. Westchester Woman Sexually Assaulted By Uber Driver, Police Say A 26-year-old Uber driver who sexually assaulted a Westchester woman on a ride home from NYC has been arrested for the attack, according to the Rye Brook Police.The attack occurred on Friday, June 8 when the 39-year-old woman hailed an Uber for a ride home from Manhattan after being out with friends in the city, said Rye Brook Det. Attack On 89-Year-Old Woman In Area Was Sexual Assault, Police Say An 89-year-old woman who was attacked by an unknown man or group of men was also sexually assaulted, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.
