She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Bear Struck, Killed On Merritt Parkway Another black bear has been struck and killed by a vehicle, this time on the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich.Greenwich Police confirmed they had received a call regarding the bear on the side of the roadway near Exit 31 and referred the matter to state police. Suspect Caught Within Minutes After Robbing Stamford Bank, Police Say A suspect was apprehended just minutes after robbing the First Bank of Greenwich, Stamford Police said. The robbery took place around 12:50 p.m. Monday at the bank on Summer Street, said Capt. Richard Conklin. According to Conklin, police have arrested the suspect and retrieved the money and the note used in the commission of the robbery.
