She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Employee Nick Colabella lost his Monroe home he shared with his wife, two daughters and mother to the fire on July 12.  The family, who were on the way to their grandmother's funeral when the fire started, lost everything in the fire. Stamford Man's Real Identity Tracked Down Through Police Body Camera A 24-year-old man who allegedly gave police a fake name after running a stop sign was tracked down through the use of the officer's body camera and busted for possession of ecstasy.  A man who gave his name as Joseph Rodderick of Stamford was given two tickets in July for failing to stop at a stop sign and for driving without a license, said Stamford Police Capt. Chacon-Diaz of Central Nyack was arrested Thursday by the Clarkstown Police Department for the rape of the young girl who is a relative, said Det. Peter Walker, spokesman for the police department. Worker At Area Daycare Center Accused Of Injuring Child A 60-year-old worker was arrested on a warrant for allegedly injuring a child at a local daycare center last month. Tammy Gosney of Milford was charged with risk of an injury to a child for allegedly grabbing a child by the wrist and yanking them up from the ground, causing an injury to the child’s elbow on June 27, said the Milford Police Department. Gosney, who was employed at the Good Child Daycare during the incident, has since been fired, police said. She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28.
