Person Hit By Tree Branch In Ossining This story has been updated. A person was hit by a tree branch late Thursday morning, Ossining Police said. Police received the call at 11:42 a.m. at 214 N. Highland Ave. in Ossining, police said. One lane of Highland Avenue was closed to traffic as firefighters and EMS worked to help the person.  Ossining Police Chief Kevin Sylvester declined to provide additional information.
