Truck, CSX Train Collide In West Nyack, Closing Roadway A truck and a CSX train collided Wednesday morning in West Nyack, backing up traffic. Clarkstown Police responded to a report of the crash around 8:34 a.m. at Pineview Road in West Nyack, said Clarkstown Det. Peter Walker.  "There were no injuries to anyone involved in the incident," Walker said.  The road will be closed until an investigation is conducted.  Police are asking motorists to avoid the area until the crash is cleared.

Woman Almost Falls For 'Grandson' Scam In Stamford, Police Say Stamford police spent several hours Monday convincing a resident that her grandson had not been arrested and she didn't need to pay money to help him. The woman called the Stamford police Monday morning and told them she had removed $5,000 from her bank account after receiving a call from a "person" who claimed that her grandson had been arrested in New York and was in trouble, said Stamford police Sgt. Man Shot In Buttocks In Westchester A man received non-life threatening injuries after being shot early Tuesday afternoon in Westchester County. The shooting took place around 2 p.m. on Highland Place in Yonkers, said Yonkers Police Det. Sgt.
