Pedestrian Hit, Killed By Vehicle In North Haven A 60-year-old man was hit and killed after getting off a city bus in North Haven. The incident took place around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday after the New Haven resident exited a city bus on Quinnipiac Avenue near Cindy Lane, said the North Haven Police.  While crossing the street on his way to work, a vehicle that was traveling south on Quinnipiac Avenue struck the man.  He was pronounced deceased on scene, police said. Apparent Targeted Shooting Marks Bridgeport's Ninth Homicide Of Year A man who was shot and killed on Tuesday in Bridgeport was apparently targeted, police said. The city's ninth homicide of the year took place around 7:30 p.m. in front of 73/75 Laurel Ave., said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. According to police,  an unidentified 30-year-old man was found unresponsive at the scene, shot in the torso and neck. He was transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. ID Released For Man Killed In Head-On Hyde Park Crash A 73-year-old man killed in a two-car crash in Dutchess County over the holiday weekend has been identified.
