The incident was uncovered around 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, when City of Newburgh Police officers responded to the area of 301 Robinson Avenue for a report of a male struck by a vehicle, said Det. ID Released For Victim Of Apparent Targeted Shooting In Bridgeport A man who was shot and killed on Tuesday night in Bridgeport in an apparently targeted shooting has been identified. The victim was 30-year-old Edwin "Jeremy" Mangual, 30 of Victory Street in Bridgeport.  Detectives continue to work to establish a motive. The city's ninth homicide of the year took place around 7:30 p.m. in front of 73/75 Laurel Ave., said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. BMW Driver Faces Vehicular Assault Charge In Drunk Driving Head-On Crash, Police Say A 28-year-old man who was allegedly driving while intoxicated during a crash that seriously injured another ma  has been charged with vehicular assault. On Sunday, Nov. 25, the State Police arrested Carlos M. Aguilar Breton of Poughkeepsie for DWI following a crash around 8:10 p.m. on Route 55 west of Route 82 in the town of LaGrange, said New York State Trooper AJ Hicks. At the time of the crash, Breton, who was driving a 2015 BMW 528i, struck a 2005 Subaru Legacy head-on. Man, 45, Admits To Child Sex Abuse In Hudson Valley A man will spend 15 years in prison after admitting to engaging in sexual acts with a child under 13 years old. Jacob Hogencamp, 46, of Wallkill, pled guilty Monday before Orange County Court Judge Robert H. Freehill, to felony course of sexual conduct against a child, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Woman Shot At Bus Stop In Bridgeport A woman waiting at a bus stop in Bridgeport was shot in the leg just before noon on Tuesday. The incident occurred around 11:50 a.m. at 1069 Connecticut Ave., said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police. The male suspect was last seen running down Waterman Street towards Stratford Avenue, Harris said. There is no further information at this time and the suspect is still on the run, police said. Pedestrian Hit, Killed By Vehicle In North Haven A 60-year-old man was hit and killed after getting off a city bus in North Haven.
