Man Killed, Two Injured In Head-On Hyde Park Crash A two-car crash left a 73-year-old Dutchess County man dead and two others injured over the holiday weekend. Rockland Measles Outbreak Update: Suspected Cases Climbs With 77 Others Confirmed The number of suspected measles cases in Rockland County continues to grow amid the largest measles outbreak in the state in decades. Rockland County Health officials announced on Monday that there are 77 confirmed cases of measles in the county, up from 74 last week, as well as 14 suspected cases, up from four, that are being investigated. The largest outbreak occurred in 1991, when 2,306 cases of measles were confirmed statewide. The outbreak began with visitors to and from Israel in September. 2019 BMW 540i Stolen From BMW Of Greenwich Found Stripped Of Parts Greenwich police are looking for information in connection with a stolen luxury car over the holiday weekend. According to police, a 2019 540i Extra Drive was stolen in the early morning hours of Saturday, Nov. 24 from BMW of Greenwich on West Putnam Avenue, said Lt. John Slusarz.  Police received the report from the dealership around noon on Saturday and by that time the vehicle had already been found stripped on a city street in New York City, he said.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Greenwich Police at 203-622-8000.

Two Suspects On Loose After Attempted Armed Robbery Of Westchester Woman Walking Dogs Police are on the hunt for two suspects who attempted to rob a woman at gunpoint on Thanksgiving Day. The incident took place while the Scarsdale woman was walking her dogs in the village on Popham Road Thursday, Nov. 22. The woman said she was approached by the two men who asked for money, police said. When the woman turned toward the men, she saw a handgun and screamed, causing the men to flee the scene.  Descriptions of the suspects were not released. Fire Causes Serious Damage To Seven-Bedroom Home In Westchester A seven-bedroom home sustained serious damage during a fire that started in the attic. The fire, at 320 Elm Road in Briarcliff Manor, was reported around 7:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, said the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department. The fire ripped through the roof and attic areas of the home, requiring a large contingent of firefighters to battle the blaze. Man Arrested For DWI Following Traffic Stop In Spring Valley A 46-year-old man was nabbed for allegedly driving drunk by Rockland County Sheriff's deputies following a traffic stop in Spring Valley. Byron Sandoval-Vasquez, of Spring Valley, was arrested around 3:48 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, after being stopped for a traffic violation on South Main Street in Spring Valley, according to the Rockland County Sheriff's Office. New City Man Nabbed For DWI Following Traffic Stop A 36-year-old Rockland County man was nabbed for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop. Julio Guaman-Dutan of New City was arrested around 4:14 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 25 by Rockland County Sheriff's deputies following a stop on Route 9W in West Haverstraw, the department said. Guaman-Dutan was stopped for violating several traffic laws, during the stop deputies found him to be intoxicated and was arrested, the Sheriff's Department said. He was charged with DWI and released on a summons to appear in court on Dec. 11.

The incident took place around 7:30 a.m. Nov. 26 when a motorist entered the James Street parking garage in Peekskill, turned a corner and failed to see a pedestrian, said Peekskill Police Det. Sgt.
