Man Stabbed In Arm During Domestic Dispute In Westchester, Police Say One person was injured during a domestic dispute in which he was stabbed in the arm, police said. The incident took place around 5:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at 157 S. 12th Ave., during the dispute, said the Mount Vernon police. The man was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries with a laceration to his forearm, said Maria Donovan, spokeswoman for the department. Detectives are investigating circumstances of the incident.

Fire Leaves Several Families Displaced, Damages Bakery In Northern Westchester Several families were left homeless following a fire at a three-story home in Northern Westchester.The fire started around 6:15 p.m. Sunday at 1049 Main St., in Peekskill, according to the Peekskill Fire Department. Arriving firefighters found heavy fire on the third floor, the fire department said. Several additional fire departments were called in to help bring the fire under control within an hour of arrival, the department said. Student, Driver Injured In Route 304 School Bus Crash One student and a school bus driver were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Rockland. The crash occurred around 7:44 a.m. Nov. 26 on Route 304 and Washington Avenue in Pearl River, police said. Orangetown police officials said officers were still on the scene and little information was available. The students were on their way to Albertus Magnus High School in Bardonia when the crash occurred with another vehicle. The injuries are said to be non-life threatening.  This is a developing story. Stephen Rossi of West Haven was arrested last week for embezzling more than $80,000 from the Sitting Duck restaurant in Trumbull and Stratford, according to the New Haven Register. Man Rapes Woman He Met On Dating Website, Police Say A 25-year-old area man has been charged with choking and raping a woman he met online. Gimel Anderson of Bridgeport was charged Friday, Nov. 9 with aggravated sexual assault, strangulation, assault and unlawful restraint, according to the Connecticut Post. Weekly Newspaper Defaced With Hate Symbols In Northern Westchester Police are investigating the defacement of a weekly newspaper with hate symbols in Northern Westchester. The defacement was discovered by a customer on a copy of this week's Northern Westchester Examiner in an inside area of the Chase Bank at 1025 Brown St. in Peekskill, said Peekskill Det. Sgt. Jack Galusha. The paper had swastikas and the letters "KKK" on the front page, police said.
