Staples HS Girls Soccer Coach Resigns After Exposing Himself To Teen, Police Say
A high school girls soccer coach has resigned after being arrested for exposing himself to a teenage girl.
David Sharpe, 29, of Fairfield, who coached the team at Staples High School in Westport, was arrested Saturday on a court warrant charging him with public indecency and breach of peace, said Fairfield Police Lt. Robert Kalamaras.
The incident was first reported to police on Oct. 23, by a resident who filed a complaint of a male exposing himself in his to a female pedestrian in the area of Old Post Road and South Benson Road, Kalamaras said.

Father, Son Duo Nabbed For Using Stolen Debit Card
A father and son duo were nabbed for allegedly using a stolen debit card taken from a man's vehicle.
Lawrence Wilson Sr., 42 and Lawrence Wilson Jr., 23, both of Monticello, were arrested on Friday, Nov. 30, and charged with forgery, two counts of criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny, said Lt. Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police Department.

Dutchess Man Arrested For Cutting The Throat Of Clerk During Armed Robbery, Police Say
A Hyde Park man is behind bars after allegedly cutting the throat of a gas station clerk and then stabbing him numerous times during an armed robbery of the business.
The incident took around 1:42 a.m., Saturday, at the Mobile gas station at 3480 North Road, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Kevin Faber.
During the commission of the crime, Matthew Garcia, 26, brandished a knife and attacked the clerk before stealing money and fleeing from the business, Faber said.
