Person Of Interest ID'd In Theft At Toys For Tots Christmas Drive For Underprivileged Kids Bridgeport Police are asking the public for help in tracking down a man who is a person of interest in the theft of toys meant for the Toys for Tots program that provides Christmas gifts for underprivileged children. A large number of toys were stolen on Saturday, Dec. 1, from storage containers at the Greater Christian Fellowship Center at 180 Boston Ave., said Bridgeport Police spokesman Terron Jones. Gerald Schroeder, 67, of White Plains, died on Nov. 24, Metro-North confirmed Tuesday.
