William R. Bullard-Havens HS Lockdown Lifted After Bridgeport Shooting A lockdown at the Bullard-Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport has been lifted following a nearby shooting.The shooting took place around 11 a.m., Friday, March 8, near the intersection of Wessels Avenue and Hoover Street, according to Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. Several shots were fired into a house on Wessel and a vehicle on the same street where bullet holes were found, Jones said.
