Suspect On Loose After 26-Year-Old Shot, Killed In Middletown
Middletown Police are on the hunt for the person or people responsible for the shooting death of a 26-year-old local man.
The incident took place around 12:25 p.m. Monday, March 11, when the City of Middletown Police responded to 23 Knapp Ave., for a reported medical emergency, said City of Middletown Police Lt. Jeffry R. Thoelen.
Upon arrival, officers located the 26-year-old male resident of the upstairs apartment, dead from an apparent gunshot wound, he said.

Domestic Incident Leads To Assault, Strangulation, Three Other Charges For Milford Man
A domestic violence incident that left a woman in serious condition has led to the arrest of an area man.
Russell Molleur, 73, of Milford, was arrested on Saturday, March 9, after Milford Police responded to a West Town Street apartment on the report of a possible domestic incident, said the Milford Police.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found that Molleur allegedly attempted to choke a woman and hit her several times in the face with a closed fist, police said.

ID Released For Man Shot, Killed In Bridgeport
The man who was shot and killed in a barrage of gunfire in Bridgeport has been identified.
Tyron Heard, 21 of Bridgeport, was shot and killed around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, according to Bridgeport Police Capt. Brian Fitzgerald.
Two other men, ages 17 and 22, who were also shot, survived, he added.
The incident took place around 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of 553 Hollister St., said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
According to Fitzgerald, at least 20 rounds were fired at a vehicle at that location.
