Numerous Road Closures As Two-Alarm Fire Sweeps Through Sleepy Hollow Firefighters from several departments are battling a two-alarm blaze in Sleepy Hollow The blaze at 7 Barnhart Ave., was reported around 2:46 p.m. Thursday, March 7, officials said. Nyack Man Violates Order Of Protection In Stony Point, Police Say A Nyack man was arrested after allegedly violating an order of protection during a domestic disturbance. Anthony Gulifield, 52, was arrested around 2:06 p.m., March 3, after officers responded to a residence on Thiells Road for a report of a domestic disturbance, said Lt. Daniel J. Hylas. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with a female victim who told that Gulifield was in her residence and refused to leave. Three Charlotte Russe Stores In Fairfield County Slated For Closure Young fashionistas who are fans of Charlotte Russe will soon have to look for another favorite store when all local stores close after filing for bankruptcy. The clothing retailer confirmed on Wednesday, March 6, that it plans to close all of its brick-and-mortar and online shops including those at the Stamford Town Center, Danbury Fair, and Westfield Trumbull malls. Wanted: Alert Issued For Bridgeport Robbery Suspect Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man wanted for allegedly robbing an elderly victim last year. According to Bridgeport Police, the robbery took place on Nov. 23, 2018, on Hanover Street. The suspect is said to have worked or works as a mechanic at various garages in the city of Bridgeport. House Fire Displaces Six In Rockland A family of six had to flee their village of Montebello home after it filled with flames and smoke early Thursday. The fire broke out around 9 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at the home located at 10 Collins Drive, said the Ramapo Police.
