A multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 287 in Westchester that closed all but one lane of traffic has been cleared, state police said. The crash, which included two passenger vehicles and two tractor-trailers, took place around 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, on the Thruway in Port Chester between exit 10 and 11, said Trooper Tara McCormick, spokeswoman for the New York State Police. Suspect On Loose After Person Shot In Bridgeport Police are on the hunt for the person who shot another, causing non-life-threatening injuries in Bridgeport. The shooting took place around 6:19 p.m. Thursday, March 14, in the area of Terrace Circle, said Bridgeport Police spokesman Terron Jones. Police report the person was shot in the wrist and was transported by private vehicle to the hospital, he said. The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
