Here's When Next Free Measles Vaccination Clinic Will Be Held In Rockland As Rockland County officials continue to work to contain a measles outbreak that has infected 161 people since it began last year, another free measles vaccine clinic has been announced. Massive Search Underway After Person Jumps Off Sikorsky Bridge Numerous crews are working to find a person who jumped off the Sikorsky Bridge, according to Connecticut State Police. State Police Sgt. Dwight Washington said the Coast Guard was on the scene as well as the Stratford Fire Department. Washington said someone jumped off the Sikorsky Bridge around 2 p.m., Thursday, April 4, and that "a body was spotted floating in the water," he added. Road-Rage Chase Between BMW, Cadillac Ends In Crash, Police Say A road-rage car chase led to a crash into a utility pole when the two cars collided in Westchester. The crash took place around 8:10 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, on Nepperhan Avenue in Yonkers, said Yonkers Police Det. Sgt. Dean Politopoulos. Firefighters Rescue Sleeping Person From Blaze In Beacon A sleeping person was saved from a fire by City of Beacon firefighters when they found him inside a Main Street apartment on fire. Firefighters responded around 3:30 a.m., Thursday, April 4 to a report of a fire at 308 Main Street in Beacon, the City of Beacon Fire Department said. Troopers Asking For Witnesses To Fiery Fatal Crash Off I-84 Police are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle, and the person who was killed during a fiery crash near I-84. The crash took place around 3 a.m., Thursday, April 4, on the Route 72 ramp to I-84 east in Plainville after the driver drove through the guardrail, struck a bridge abutment and the vehicle caught fire, Connecticut State police said. Good Samaritans, Trooper Save Drowning Dog From Creek In Northern Westchester With help from some Good Samaritans, a New State trooper saved a dog from drowning after rushing into a Westchester creek to save the sinking pooch. The incident took place around 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, when state police received a call from a homeowner at 13 Brook Drive in Cortlandt saying their dog was in a creek and couldn't get out, said Trooper AJ Hicks. ID Released For Man Killed In Route 202 Crash In Rockland A 54-year-old man has been identified as the person killed in a three-vehicle crash crash near Spook Rock Road, Ramapo police said. Randell Adams of Pomona was killed around 7:25 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, near Spook Rock Road, Ramapo Police Sgt. Blaine Howell said. Deerpark Man Charged With Violating Sex Offender Requirements A Level 1 sex offender has been arrested for allegedly failing to notify officials that he had moved out of state. Raymoe Storms, 43, was arrested Tuesday, April 2, by the Deerpark Police Department and charged with felony violation of the Sex Offender Registry, said Chief Richard J. Sztyndor.
