Tractor-Trailer Overturns Causing Closure Of I-87 Stretch In Suffern All lanes of I-287 in Rockland County have reopened following a single-vehicle rollover crash of a tractor-trailer. Town Board Member, Ex-Greenburgh Police Officer Dies At 63 Kevin Morgan, a beloved Greenburgh Town Board member, and retired Greenburgh police detective has died. Morgan, a lifelong resident of Elmsford, died following a short battle with cancer on Thursday, April 4. He was 63. Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said the world lost a good man when Morgan passed away. "Greenburgh Councilman Kevin Morgan was a good man," he said. Bones Found In Greenwich Park Identified As Local Man Bones found in a Greenwich park in 2017 have been identified as belonging to an area man through DNA testing. On April 26, 2017, Town of Greenwich Parks workers discovered a human bone in a stream at the Helen Binney Kitchel Natural Park, adjacent to Laddins Rock Road, in Old Greenwich, said Greenwich Police Lt. Here's How Many Measles Cases Have Now Been Confirmed In Orange County The Orange County Department of Health is advising residents that the number of confirmed measles cases in the county is now 15 and that there has been a substantial increase in the number of cases in surrounding areas. The County previously had 12 recorded cases of measles in 2018-19, the department said on Wednesday, April 3. Man Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center After Being Run Over By Vehicle In Parking Area A man who was seen stumbling and falling in a parking area was run over by a vehicle that was leaving the area and didn't see the victim on the ground. ID Released For Man Who Jumped To His Death From Sikorsky Bridge Connecticut State Police have identified the man who jumped to his death from the Sikorsky Memorial Bridge on Thursday. The victim was identified as Stephen P. Regan, 62, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, state police said. Regan jumped off the Sikorsky Bridge around 2 p.m., Thursday, April 4, and his body was retrieved by state police and officials with the Stratford Fire Department. Area Man Arrested After Hitting Nypd Officer With Drone During Funeral A 36-year-old man was arrested during a rebbe's funeral in Brooklyn after his drone hit an NYPD officer injuring her face. Large Brush Fire Breaks Out In Orange County A least a dozen fire companies have responded to a large brush fire on Lodge Mountain in Orange County that spread quickly with building winds. The fire started Thursday afternoon, April 4, near 10 Estybrook Trail, on the mountain, said the Mountain Lodge Park Fire Company. The department said the fire was "very large."
