Officers Rescue OD Victim Found In Bathroom Of Area Dunkin' Donuts Quick-acting police officers saved a Highland man from death after he was found unconscious at a local Dunkin' Donuts. The incident took place around 10:24 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, when Lloyd Police and the New York State Police responded to the Bridgeview Plaza, Dunkin' Donuts for a welfare check concerning a subject that was locked in the bathroom and wasn’t responding, said Lloyd Police. Man Nabbed With Loaded Gun In Rockland, Police Say A Spring Valley man was arrested for allegedly carrying a loaded firearm, said Spring Valley Police. Tyreek J. Jackson, was stopped in the are of Kennedy Drive by Spring Valley police on Saturday, March 30, said Spring Valley Officer Matthew Galli. During the stop, officers found that Jackson was allegedly illegally carrying a loaded firearm, Galli said. He was arrested and charged with felony possession of a loaded weapon and felony criminal possession of a weapon. Jackson is being held on the charges pending arraignment.

State Supreme Court Judge Rules Against Rockland County Measles State Of Emergency A State Supreme Court judge has ruled against Rockland County's state of emergency order banning people under the age of 18 who have not received a measles vaccine from public places. Rockland County Executive Ed Day instituted the ban last month after more than 160 measles cases were confirmed to be infected with the virus. Since the state of emergency, another six people have been confirmed to be carrying the disease for a total of 167 cases. 42 Exposed To Measles At Nyack Hospital, Officials Say Rockland County officials announced during a measles vaccine clinic that 42 people had recently been exposed to the measles virus at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. The exposure included 11 children, four pregnant women and 20 people with unknown vaccination status, said Rockland County Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert outside of the clinic on Friday, April 5. Man Killed After Pickup Truck Loses Control, Crashes Into House On Route 9W A 79-year-old area man was killed during a single-vehicle crash with the car slamming into a vacant home in Highland. The unidentified Ulster County man was killed around 11:20 a.m., Friday, April 5, on Route 9W in Highland, said Town of Lloyd Police Lt. James Janso. Tractor-Trailer Overturns Causing Closure Of I-87 Stretch In Suffern All lanes of I-287 in Rockland County have reopened following a single-vehicle rollover crash of a tractor-trailer. Town Board Member, Ex-Greenburgh Police Officer Dies At 63 Kevin Morgan, a beloved Greenburgh Town Board member, and retired Greenburgh police detective has died. Morgan, a lifelong resident of Elmsford, died following a short battle with cancer on Thursday, April 4. He was 63. Bones Found In Greenwich Park Identified As Local Man Bones found in a Greenwich park in 2017 have been identified as belonging to an area man through DNA testing. On April 26, 2017, Town of Greenwich Parks workers discovered a human bone in a stream at the Helen Binney Kitchel Natural Park, adjacent to Laddins Rock Road, in Old Greenwich, said Greenwich Police Lt. Here's How Many Measles Cases Have Now Been Confirmed In Orange County The Orange County Department of Health is advising residents that the number of confirmed measles cases in the county is now 15 and that there has been a substantial increase in the number of cases in surrounding areas.
