ID Released For Woman Found Dead Inside LI Home Following Fire
A woman found dead inside a Bayville home that burned has been identified by police.
Sonia Baron, 94, of Bayville, was found following a fire at her home on Bayville Park Boulevard around 1:58 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, said the Nassau County Police.
Another resident, a man, was also found inside the home and is listed in critical condition, police said.
When Bayville Fire Department responded to a 911 call for the fire, they found the residence fully engulfed in flames, police said.

Norwalk Woman Nabbed For DUI After Hitting Two Vehicles In Wilton, Police Say
A Norwalk woman was arrested for driving drunk after allegedly crossing the yellow line and hitting two other vehicles.
Tina Tong, 22, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 8, following the crash on Danbury Road in Wilton, said the Wilton Police Department.
According to police, Tong "displayed behavior that would indicate she may be under the influence."
A series of field sobriety tests were administered, which she failed, police said.

Teen Charged With Rape, Attempted Strangulation Of 19-Year-Old Girl, Police Say
A teen was arrested for allegedly raping and attempting to strangle a 19-year-old woman.
Devon Austin Payne, of Cragsmoor in Ulster County, was arrested by Town of Montgomery Police following an investigation into the Wednesday, Nov. 6, sexual assault, said Town of Montgomery Police Investigator Stephen Ragni.
Payne was charged with felony rape, felony strangulation, aggravated harassment, stalking, assault, and unlawful imprisonment, police said.
He was arraigned in the Town of Montgomery Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail.
