Worker Killed In Fall At Norwalk's SoNo Collection A construction worker fell to his death while working during the early morning hours on the SoNo Collection in Norwalk. The unidentified man fell around 2:39 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the new shopping area located at 100 North Water Street, said Lt. Terry Blake with the Norwalk Police Department. Blake said the man fell from an elevated height.  Arriving officers rendered aid to the man, who was transported to the Norwalk Hospital by ambulance where the man later died, Blake said. Man Charged With BWI In Long Island Boat Crash That Killed One, Injured Three An East Northport man has been charged with boating while intoxicated following a powerboat crash that left one woman dead and three others injured.  Francesco Distefano, 48, was charged on Monday, Nov. 11, following the Sunday, Nov. 10 crash that took place around 9:17 p.m. when a 39-foot Cobalt powerboat he was allegedly piloting smashed into a bulkhead fronting on Great Peconic Bay, Southhold Police said. Owner Of Loose Dog Running Around Westchester Lowe's Store Gets Handed Ticket The owner of a loose dog running around the premises of a Lowe's store in Westchester ended up with a ticket and a date to appear in court. The incident took place on Wednesday, Nov. 6 in Yorktown, when police received a call from a Lowe's employee that a dog was "running at large," on the premises. Once on the scene, officers found a blond-colored lab-mixed type dog running around the store. The dog's owner, Darly Bravo, 21, of Yorktown, was located and issued a ticket for the violation of allowing dogs to run at large. She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Nov. 21.
