Restaurant & Pizzeria In Area Suffers Heavy Damage From Fire Pearl River firefighters battled an early morning fire at an area pizzeria. The Pearl River Fire Department responded to the call around 3:22 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 13, at Sorrento's Restaurant at 54 N. Middletown Road in Pearl River in a shopping plaza, the department said on Facebook. Man Nabbed For Allegedly Plowing Into Pedestrians In Huntington Station A man who plowed into three people while leaving a Huntington Station restaurant and then fled the scene has been arrested. Rupel Portillo-Gonzalez, 30, of East Northport, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 6, and charged with leaving the scene of a crime, said the Suffolk County Police. According to police, Portillo-Gonzalez left the Three Stars restaurant and hit three people and then fled the scene. All of the victims were injured but survived, police said.

Man Charged With Killing His Brother In Bethel Pleads Not Guilty A Bethel man arrested for killing his older brother has pleaded not guilty to murder charges. Matthew J. O'Dell, 40, was arrested on murder charges on Wednesday, Nov. 13, by Bethel Police. The prosecutor said his brother, Richard O'Dell, 42, had been shot four times in the head at close range. During the hearing where O'Dell pleaded not guilty, attorneys said that he suffered from mental health issues. Westchester Trio Nabbed In Major Drug Ring Takedown Three Westchester County men have been indicted on charges they operated a complex drug-dealing operation that sent tractor-trailer loads of drugs across the country. Giovanny Arias, Victor Salazar, and Hector Maren, all of White plains, are three of 11 people indicted following a two-year investigation, said the Queens Acting District Attorney John Ryan. Man Accused Of Throwing Large Object At Woman Holding Infant Charged With Assault A 39-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly throwing a large object at a woman holding an infant. Ewen DeWitt, of Milford, was arrested around 11:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, on Minute Man Drive after receiving a call from the victim, said the Milford Police. Roadway Remains Closed For Replacement Of Downed Utility Poles Town of Greenburgh police are advising drivers that Pipeline Drive is temporarily closed while repairs are made to two utility poles. The poles were damaged on Tuesday, Nov. 12, during a crash by a Town of Greenburgh vehicle. The road reopened for the evening rush hour, but was closed again Wednesday, Nov. 13 as Con Ed resumed work. ID Released For Construction Worker Killed In Norwalk Fall A construction worker who fell to his death while working during the early morning hours on the SoNo Collection in Norwalk has been identified. Lorgio Jimenez-Suarez, 52, of Astoria, fell around 2:39 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the new shopping area located at 100 North Water Street, said Lt. Terry Blake with the Norwalk Police Department. 31-Year-Old LI Man Struck, Killed On Sunrise Highway A 31-year-old man was killed after he was hit by another vehicle as he exited his disabled pickup truck on Sunrise Highway. Shawn Devlin, of Mastic Beach, was killed around 5:20 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Sayville, said the Suffolk County Police.
