Man Caught Stealing From Area Business A 67-year-old man was nabbed by police after an officer spotted him in the back of a business early in the morning. Richard Licata, of Tomkins Cove, was arrested around 2:53 a.m., Friday, Nov. 8, after an officer patrolling Patriot Square spotted him in the rear of a business near an empty bottle storage area, said Stony Point Police Lt. New Details Emerge In Multi-County Chase That Started In Hudson Valley A multi-county pursuit of two men in a U-Haul who had allegedly ripped off several TVs from a Walmart in the Hudson Valley ended with one nabbed by state police and the other by New Jersey police. The wild incident began around 9 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, when New York State troopers from the Catskill barracks responded to a call to assist the Catskill Police Department with a larceny complaint, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Wilder, of the Bronx, was arrested around 6:49 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, when an officer on routine patrol located an occupied vehicle in Greenvale Park, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Fairfield Man Behind Bars After Hitting Five Vehicles, Attacking Officer A Fairfield man is behind bars after allegedly hitting five vehicles and then attacking a police officer after his arrest. Area Couple Charged With Assault Of 6-Week-Old Child A 28-year-old woman and her boyfriend have been arrested for the reckless assault of a 6-week-old child, state police say. Suffolk Man Arrested For Attempting To Kidnap, Sell Sex Workers A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly trafficking and attempting to kidnap sex workers. Andrew Frey, 54, of Coram, was arrested Friday, Nov. 15, by the FBI and the Suffolk County Police Department. Frey is charged with attempted trafficking by force and attempted kidnapping, said the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. A Danbury deputy fire chief helped save the life of a person suffering a medical crisis on a flight from Las Vegas. Five Injured When Pickup Truck Crashes Into DOT Truck On Southern State Parkway Five people were injured, including four Department of Transportation workers, during a crash on the Southern State Parkway.
