Showtime's 'Billions' Looking For Extras From Area Just in time for the holidays, "Billions," a hit Showtime series, is looking for locals to work as paid extras. According to Grant Wilfley Casting, the series will be filming upscale party scenes and other takes in Ulster County in the New Platz area for Season 5 of the series which stars Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis. The filming will take place on Monday, Dec. 2 and Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the swanky Mohonk Mountain House, announced the Hudson Valley Film Commission on Facebook. 29 Arrested During Protest At Energy Facility In Area A total of 29 people were arrested during a protest at the Crickett Valley Energy facility in Dover. The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police said the 29 were charged during the early morning hours on Saturday, Nov. 15, said Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Capt. Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle In Spring Valley A 34-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Rockland County. The incident took place in Spring Valley around 10 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17, when police officers responded to 175 E. Route 59 for a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle, said Spring Valley Officer Matthew Galli. 14-Year-Old Stabs Another Teen During Altercation In Area, Police Say A 14-year-old teen was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old during an incident in the area. The incident took place around 4:19 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, when Town of Poughkeepsie Police responded to a reported stabbing at the Mountain Brook Apartments complex on Innis Avenue, Lt. Man Charged With Stabbing Teen During Altercation In Area A 41-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a teen who drove away from the scene while wounded. Two Injured When Bus Sideswipes Vehicle In Bridgeport Two people were injured when a Bridgeport Transit bus sideswiped a parked vehicle. The incident took place around 10:25 a.m., Monday, Nov. 18, when the 58-year-old driver of the bus hit a GMC Canyon on Fairfield Avenue, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. The driver of the parked car was an 86-year-old man, Jones said. The bus was occupied by three passengers, one of which was taken to the hospital for treatment. Driver Of Stolen Vehicle Gets Away Following Chase By Fairfield Police The driver of a stolen vehicle took Fairfield Police on a chase after failing to stop for officers. The incident took place around 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17, when officers attempted to stop a Hyundai Accent bearing a lost or stolen registration plate, said Fairfield Police Capt. Robert Kalamaras.
