ID Released For Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Long Island Crash, Police Say
Police have released the identity of a man who was killed while riding as a passenger in a vehicle that crashed on Long Island.
Keith Bailey, 47, of Queens Village, was killed around 12:48 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, when the 1995 Mitsubishi he was a passenger in slammed into a tree in Woodmere, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, the crash occurred when a 47-year-old man was driving his vehicle southwest in the vicinity 1044 Peninsula Boulevard when he lost control and struck a tree, police said.

Rockland Man Stabbed While Walking To Area Synagogue
A man walking to an area synagogue was stabbed more than once by at least one person.
The incident took place around 5:49 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20, when the Ramapo Police responded to Howard Drive, in Monsey, for what they thought was a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, Ramapo Police said.
When officers on the scene, it was quickly determined that the individual had been stabbed and slashed with an unknown weapon and not struck by a vehicle, police said.

One person was killed and another airlifted to an area hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Long Island.
The crash, involving a 1995 Mitsubishi took place around 12:48 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Woodmere, said the Nassau County Police.

Support Pours In For Family Of Woman Killed With Boyfriend In Area Crash
The community is coming out in force to help the family of a young woman who died along with her boyfriend during a single-vehicle crash in the area.
Orange County resident Alexis Lewis, 20, of Chester, was killed along with her boyfriend, Holmes B. Shindon, 21, of Montgomery, during a single-vehicle crash on Saturday, Nov. 16, on Route 208 in the town of Hamptonburgh.
